Returns and Refunds Policy

At Razi Meds Pharmacy, we understand that there may be occasions where you no longer require an item you have ordered, have changed your mind, or where an item may be faulty or incorrectly supplied. As a GPhC-registered distance selling pharmacy, Razi Meds Pharmacy supplies medicines without face-to-face contact, in line with regulatory requirements.

Please note that our returns and refunds policy differs depending on whether the item is a medicine, a prescribed or dispensed product, or a non-medicinal retail item.

Non-medicinal items purchased from Razi Meds Pharmacy

If you wish to return a non-medicinal item purchased from our online pharmacy shop, the following conditions apply.

28-day cooling-off period

You must notify us of your intention to return an item within 14 days of receiving your order. Once you have notified us, you will have a further 14 days to return the item. This provides a maximum return period of 28 days from delivery.

All returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in a resaleable condition. We reserve the right to refuse a refund where returned goods are not in an acceptable condition. All returns are assessed prior to approval. We are unable to offer exchanges.

Electrical items must be returned complete with all original accessories, cables, and components.

Items excluded from return (unless faulty or damaged on arrival)

For safety, hygiene, and regulatory reasons, we cannot accept returns for the following unless the item is faulty or damaged:

  • Perishable items
  • Infant formula and baby milk products
  • Items that have been unsealed and include a hygiene or health-protection seal
  • Medicines or services dispensed on prescription
  • Medicines or services supplied under NHS arrangements
  • Medicines approved and supplied by the Razi Meds Pharmacy team

If you are unsure whether an item is eligible for return, please contact our Customer Care team before sending it back. This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. We cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged during return transit. We strongly recommend using a tracked or recorded delivery service and ensuring items are securely packaged.

Refund processing

Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 working days of receiving the returned item. Depending on your payment provider, it may take up to 30 days for the refunded amount to appear on your original payment method.

Once an order has been cancelled, you have a legal duty of care to retain the goods in a reasonable condition until they are returned. We reserve the right to deduct an amount from the refund, which may be up to 100% of the item value, where any loss in value results from unnecessary handling.

In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2014, eligible refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving notice of cancellation.

Medicines and prescribed or dispensed items

Medicines and other items dispensed against a prescription—including those supplied following a clinical assessment, online consultation, Pharmacy First service, or under a Patient Group Direction (PGD), whether provided privately or under NHS services—cannot be refunded or replaced unless they are faulty or damaged on arrival. For patient safety reasons, these items cannot be reused or re-dispensed.

If a prescribed or dispensed item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact our Customer Care team promptly so we can review and resolve the issue.

Unused or unwanted medicines should be disposed of safely. Pharmacies can accept medicines for safe destruction, and any medicines returned to Razi Meds Pharmacy are accepted solely for destruction and cannot be reused, resold, or re-dispensed.
